Balloon release

The planned Birmingham’s St Patrick's Day Parade balloon release

While it's great that such a gathering is taking place and should be lots of fun, the planned balloon release in Birmingham on Sunday March 17th is, for a number of reasons, a misguided way in which to celebrate an occasion and mark the start of a festival commemorate the loss of a loved one fundraise.

You are therefore urged to take action and make a direct appeal to the organisation behind this event to abandon this plan and think of an alternative to achieve the same ends.

So this page has been set up so that you can either e-mail them or use their online contact form (Twitter account not yet known/available). The choice is yours but please do something.
